In what states can I purchase a COVID-19 kit?
COVID-19 home testing kit is available in 48 states besides Alaska and Hawaii.
Are my COVID-19 results accurate?
We are proud to be partnered with Access DX to ensure you always know exactly where your sample is processed. Access DX is a CDC Reference Lab as well as a CLIA and CAP-certified, which means they must meet or exceed high precision, accuracy, and validity standards, obtain both state and federal certifications, and submit themselves to regular inspections as well as independent third-party performance verifications.

How soon will I get my kit?
- We process orders and ship Mon-Sunday. Orders placed by 1:00 PM (EST) will ship out the same day, orders placed after that will ship out no later than next day.
- Orders are shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight shipping at no additional cost, which delivers to most residences by 8:00 pm the next business day.
- We recommend ordering our kits as early as possible to expedite the process, our kits are good for one year from the time of order.
How do I return my kit?
- FedEx Priority Overnight shipping is included with each kit at no additional cost.
- Make sure to drop off your kit at the nearest FedEx drop box prior to last pickup, on the same day that you took your sample. You can find the nearest drop box at FedEx.com/locate.
- Please follow all directions (included in your kit) for properly sealing and returning of your sample to ensure that we are able to process your test.
How soon will I get my results?
- Once your sample is received by the lab, they will immediately begin work getting your results to you. COVID-19 test results are typically complete in 24 hours of dropping at FedEx.

Is the COVID-19 home kit approved for travel?
There are many different requirements based on the destination and the airline being used, often with a very strict timeframe. You should always confirm requirements with the airline, as well as the government for any foreign countries you will be traveling to.
While we are not able to provide an exact estimate of when you will receive your results, keep in mind the typical turnaround time for results. As a reminder:

- Delivery: we estimate that you will receive your kit within 2 days of ordering (not including Sundays)
- Return: once you ship your sample at a FedEx drop box Monday-Friday, our lab should receive your sample within 1-2 business days.
- Results: results are typically available within 12 hours after the lab receives your sample.
If you are concerned that your schedule may not allow for our testing process, we recommend that you check your state department’s website for other testing options.
Who should take this test?
This test is for anyone 18 years and older who thinks they may have been exposed to COVID-19, or those who are currently experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Those who are not experiencing symptoms are still eligible for this test, as it is possible to be infected by SARS-CoV-2 without being symptomatic.
If your symptoms are severe, such as difficulty breathing, it is recommended that you seek emergency medical attention right away and do not take this test.
Is this authorized by the FDA?
Yes, the COVID-19 Test Home Collection Kit DTC and our lab partner, Gravity Diagnostics, have received Emergency Use Authorization from the FDA.
This home collection kit has not been FDA cleared or approved. This home collection kit has been authorized by FDA under an EUA. This home collection kit has been authorized only for the home collection and maintenance of nasal swab specimens as an aid in detection of nucleic acid from SARS-CoV-2, not for any other viruses or pathogens. This home collection kit in combination with the authorized test is only authorized for the duration of the declaration that circumstances exist justifying the authorization of emergency use of in vitro diagnostic tests for detection and/or diagnosis of COVID-19 under Section 564(b)(1) of the Act, 21 U.S.C. § 360bbb-3(b)(1), unless the authorization is terminated or revoked sooner.
How quickly will I get my COVID-19 Test Home Collection Kit and results?
Once your order is complete, your package will be shipped out of our fulfillment warehouse within 24 hours (not including Sundays) and will be shipped via FedEx Standard Overnight®. Return FedEx Standard Overnight® shipping is also included to expedite this process. To find the nearest drop off location, please check www.fedex.com/locate/
Once your sample is received by the lab, they will immediately begin work getting your results to you. COVID-19 test results are typically complete in 24-48 hours of receipt.
If you are concerned that your schedule may not allow for our testing process, we recommend that you check your state health department’s website for other testing options.
Are COVID-19 Test results accurate?
We use rt-PCR testing, the gold standard in COVID-19 tests. All samples are processed by Access DX to ensure you always know exactly where your sample is processed. Access DX is CLIA and CAP-certified, with over 5 Million Covid tests completed to date.

AreCOVID-19 kits covered by insurance?
Once your order is placed you will be mailed a digital itemized receipt to submit to your insurance provider. Insurance provider are required to cover at home testing.
Can I purchase multiple kits?
Multiple kit purchases are available. For large purchases or organizational needs, we recommend reaching out directly to us directly at [email protected].
Can I purchase a kit for someone else?
Patient information is not inputted until registration, so you are able to purchase kit for others. Some of our kits have limitations for use, so please verify that these will not preclude the individual receiving the kit from being eligible. For more information on restrictions, check out our individual item FAQ’s under the tab labeled “who is eligible for this test”.
What lab does COC Consulting use?
We are proud to be partnered with Access DX to ensure you always know exactly where your sample is processed.
